A blast from the past for this super retro-glam wedding in Tuscany!
Alberto and Gabriele are a great couple. They have been together for almost 9 years, born in Italy and then they moved to London where they work.
Gabriele is a commercial video producer/director therefore he had high expectations and a clear vision on how the film should have looked like. It has been a great challenge to meet his requests and satisfy his needs but he was really happy with the result at then end. That was what I aimed for.
The grooms have chosen to celebrate their Big Day in a very charming and historic Villa that belongs to their family. Villa Medicea is located in a small village in Tuscany called Buti.
Tonini villa, built by the Medici around 1550 and known as “Villa Medicea”, frescoed inside by Giarré.
Residence of the Medici Grand Dukes’ administration personnel : here the captains of part of the city of Florence had a tower and a nearby house. This building was enlarged in late 1600 by Pier Maria di Domenico Petracchi, who managed the Medici farm of Cascine di Buti. In the early 1700s Petracchi sold the prestigious Villa Medici to Giovanni Mattia Berti.
Everything was perfect, the location, the guests attire, the music and lights. But above all you could feel the love and emotions between them, and this is the most important thing to me as a Filmmaker and storyteller.
